Jordan Bromine Co. Ltd. (JBC) and AmCham Jordan Sign a 5-Year Strategic Partnership in Order to Address National Economic and Social Development.
The 5-year strategic partnership was signed and implemented by AmCham CEO Samir Mansour and Jordan Bromine Company General Manager Ahmad Khalifeh on Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at a signing ceremony at the King Hussein Business Park. The agreement marked both parties’ commitment to creating positive economic and social change in Jordan. Representatives from the US Embassy and AmCham’s Board of Directors were also in attendance.
Mr. Khalifeh, General Manager of the chemical company, expressed his support for the agreement, stating that “JBC is committed to working collaboratively within the business community, and we aim to consolidate the efforts of the private sector to effect change. We offer our experience and industry knowledge to the business community with an aim to attract foreign investment in Jordan, and this strategic partnership with AmCham will help us achieve that.”
AmCham CEO Samir Mansour and AmCham Board Member Khaled Kanaan commended JBC on their corporate social responsibility, citing the company as a prime example as one that has grown its business successfully over the years without hindering its commitment to Jordan’s social needs.
JBC and AmCham Jordan plan to work closely over the coming months to develop a strategic plan to achieve the goals they outlined during their initial agreement.
