Jordan Bromine Company Ltd. Names a Waiting Room at the King Hussein Cancer Center
(Amman - 10/8/2016): Jordan Bromine Company Ltd. (JBC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) to donate JD 50,000 to name a waiting room at the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC) as part of KHCF’s Naming and Recognition Program. The MoU was signed by KHCF Deputy Director, Nisreen Qatamish, and JBC General Manager, Ahmad Khalifeh.
Ms. Qatamish thanked JBC for its donation to KHCF and KHCC’s noble cause, adding “We appreciate JBC’s generous support and willingness to partner with us in the fight against cancer. This proves their deep commitment to the local community. We call on all companies to follow JBC’s steps in supporting cancer patients.”
For his part, Mr. Khalifeh said: “As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, JBC supports KHCF and KHCC in recognition of their treatment and care for cancer patients. As a world-class institution in oncology care, KHCC has given many patients hope for treatment and recovery from this disease, which affects almost every family in Jordan. We believe that together we can make this project a success.”
The Naming and Recognition Program offers individuals and establishments an opportunity to name a space or area at KHCC in the name of a loved one or a corporate entity. The donor’s name of choice will be visibly displayed on the building or entrance wall of the room, unit, suite or floor that the donor chooses according to the type and amount of donation made.
